Please bear in mind that proximity cards have security features, some of which are conspicuous even from afar. All violators will be apprehended accordingly.
Confiscated proximity cards due to transfer, lend/borrow or misuse are immediately deactivated, which are kept by the Security office until the registered cardholder personally claim the proximity card.
The production, possession and use of a counterfeit access card are punishable under Republic Act 8484, otherwise known as the “Access Device Regulation Act of 1998”. Gramercy’s access card falls within the purview of an “access device” as defined by RA 8484 because the card is a means of account access that grants its holder the right to use Gramercy’s exclusive facilities. Any access card that is not validly issued by Gramercy but has similar functions as the same can be considered as a “counterfeit access device.”
In view of the foregoing, unit owners, occupants, lessees or guests who are producing, trafficking, in possession of, and using counterfeit access cards shall (i) pay a penalty of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (P100,000.00) and/or (ii) be charged of criminal complaints for violation of RA 8484. As resolved by the Board, this shall fall part of Gramercy’s House Rules and Regulations.
It may not be amiss to point out that under Gramercy’s Master Deed with Declaration of Restrictions, each unit owner shall be jointly and solidarily liable with the occupants of his unit found violating any limitation, restriction, and such rules and regulations promulgated by the Condominium Corporation.
The Gramercy Residences is a private residence.
“ House rules and regulations are observed and implemented.”
